I actually introduced myself before but I don't think it stuck. Before I introduce myself, I'd like to introduce Susan, whom the site is for.
Susan was my sister in law. My brother Budd's wife. Budd and Sue met on the CB radio, the internet of the 70's. They were both in high school and from the moment they met, they were inseperable. She would come to the house every Sunday for dinner. My Mom was alive then and I remember her saying that she couldn't have picked a better girlfriend for my brother to have than Sue. She was there for him when my Mom died. I remember coming home from the hospital and he was sitting in a chair and Sue was already there with him and her brother Mike, because at the time she didn't even drive yet. Susan was in our family for 30yrs. We've been through good times and rough times. She and my brother are my daughters Godparents. Susan was a fun loving caring person. She was also the strongest person I have ever met. Throughout her 3+ yr ordeal with breast cancer, she never waivered, never cried, never complained. Everytime I spoke to her, her questions were for other people, How's my husband, how's my daughter, even my pets. She took on this challenge with grace and dignity. This has been very hard on my entire family, especially my brother Budd who is lost without her. I just wanted people to know what a wonderful, caring courageous person she was. She deserved so much more than she got. I will always hold her as one of my heroes.
