A face-lift

I have given Pink Ribbons a face lift. The colors may not be as I had expected them to be, but there weren't many templates to choose from. :/ I picked the closest one I could find to match the forum and it's purpose. As soon as I figure out what's what, I'll make it look better, I promise. : )

I actually introduced myself before but I don't think it stuck.Before I introduce myself, I'd like to introduce Susan, whom the site is for.

Susan was my sister in law. My brother Budd's wife. Budd and Sue met on the CB radio, the internet of the 70's. They were both in high school and from the moment they met, they were inseperable. She would come to the house every Sunday for dinner. My Mom was alive then and I remember her saying that she couldn't have picked a better girlfriend for my brother ...

My Aunt and Godmother, Susan was the one who got me started in Photoshop and in Poser. I don't use Poser anymore, and I can not download Photoshop on my PC for some reason, but that doesn't mean that I stop fiddling with graphics. I may have to resort to using Paint, but it still works!

I've been thinking a lot this past year and a half or so. I saw a saying once that I truly believe. It's not about the moments you breathe in life, it's about the moments that take your breath away. I realize that we have to live for that because life just throws curve balls at you all the time and you have to deal with them the best way you know how. I guess as we go through life, we all have the moments that take our breath away and that's what we need to hold on to. We can get through anything ...

What a difference a sad event in someone's life makes. George Carlin. (His wife recently passed away...) Isn't it amazing that George Carlin - comedian of the 70's and 80's - could write something so very eloquent...and so very appropriate?

There is a country song that always reminds me of Susan. I'm not sure who sings it, but some of the words say:

" She's strong, carries on, can't slow her down."

" There was a time..... before she was mine when I thought I was tough."

I can't listen to it without crying..even though I like it.

I created this forum in loving memory of my Godmother and Aunt, Susan Auger who passed away this year. Through her friends and family, and through this forum, I know that we can keep her memory alive.
